The Police Force Should Be Racist?

Here’s a radical thought: America (and any other country where the police does racial profiling) should use the next 20 years to make the police force racist.

What?! They’re already racist!

Yes, they are. In a negative way. What I mean is to only train non-white recruits for the next 20 years to slowly replace all the white officers. I don’t have any estimates, but 20 years should be more than enough.

“You don’t have proper stats yet you think it will help? How?”

Well, for starters:

  • Non-white people are less racist so racial profiling will take a huge dip. This I know.
  • People can actually trust the police because they look like everyone. That would be huge!
  • More non-white people will be employed, legitimately.
  • Police shootings… Do I need to even say it?
  • Police brutality… Again, do I?
  • Police harassment… Am I making my point?
  • Hate for police and the FTP mentality will also dip.

Yeah, yeah. That’s all well and good but what about the former white police officers?

Who cares? I’m kidding. Private security, upskill them in other fields, army reserves, police consulting.

You got 20 years to figure it out. This is a thought I got while watching “Queen & Slim”.

If your government’s police force is hated, distrusted, riddled with bad or racist officers, etc., think about what this could do.

But don’t think too long.

Come up with a plan before your country’s next election and make sure your next country leader has this on their agenda. It took me an hour of thought and 20 minutes to write this. Imagine what a few months of detailed and actionable planning from experts in collaboration with community leaders could do.
